Description: Woolen blanket that was machine woven in one seamless piece. Exterior edges of blanket are embroidered in red blanket and briar stitches.

Maker: Unknown

Provenance: This blanket was carried by A. W. Randolph (1839-1895) of Louisville, KY, who mustered in at Bowling Green, Company B, 6th Kentucky Infantry, of the 1st Kentucky Brigade. This unit was nicknamed “the Orphan Brigade” by its surviving members after the war.
