Religion on Radio and TV
Kentucky Library Broadside Collection #S1021
This flier advertises a radio and television religious rally to be held at Covington’s Immanuel Baptist Church in the fall of 1953. Morris H. Coers, host of "The Temple of the Air" and "Chapel of Dreams" was the speaker. Several northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area instrumentalists and vocalists were slated to perform at the event. This broadside documents the use of early television for evangelistic purposes.
Gift of the Steeley Veach Estate, 1998
