This site was originally conceived in late 1995 by Kerry J. Smith. It is now maintained by the Western Kentucky University Libraries' Web KERA Group. This site is a response to the absence of a centralized Internet resource library containing information about the Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA). Although this site is not all inclusive, it is designed to provide useful information to parents of KERA-educated students; to students (and others) performing research on KERA; and, generally, to anyone interested in education reform in Kentucky and elsewhere.
