Hall Date Built - completed in 1964 Date Razed - Cost of Construction - $800,000 Architects - Arrasmith and Wilk Namesake - J.T. Gilbert was a Bowling Green physician who served on the Board of Regents from 1963 to 1971. History - By 1963, Gilbert Hall was the twelfth building to be constructed on campus since 1956. The four story building provides housing for 230 women and an apartment for the dorm director. There was a sandwich shop on the first floor that seated 200.
