What
we do for you —
How to get books and articles sent for FREE!
If
you are taking an online class or a class at one of our extended
campus centers, we will help connect you to materials in the library.
If you are currently enrolled in an Internet or off-campus class,
contact us and we will send you copies of journal articles and/or
books from the University Libraries' circulating collection. (Services
only pertain to assignments in online or extended campus classes.)
This
service is FREE! This means you can get journal
articles copied and mailed to you at NO COST! Books
are also sent out at no charge (UP TO FIVE books per request),
but the books must be returned to WKU Libraries within the normal
check-out period or you will be charged overdue fines at the same
rate as on-campus students. We will send along a self-addressed
(but NOT stamped) envelope for you to use in returning books.
Turnaround
Time
It
will take from seven to to days normally to receive your materials.
We will send your materials through the mail; we are not able
to send materials via e-mail. During peak times of the semester,
the turnaround period may take up to two weeks. Requests are processed
in the order they are received, so please plan accordingly. Please
note that this turnaround time is only for materials held in the
WKU Libraries' collection.
