E-Journal Selection Guidelines

1. The e-journal is available for a period of at least a year.

2. Requests to link to freely accessible e-journals (or free online w/print subscription) should be forwarded to the EIRC chair by the appropriate subject librarian with a brief justification. NO EIRC FORM REQUIRED.

3. Requests for funded e-journal subscriptions must be submitted by the appropriate subject librarian to the EIRC chair on the Electronic Information Resource Request Form with justification and funding scenario for review and recommendation by the EIRC.

4. Approved e-journal titles will be added to the Libraries’ E-Journals web page.

5. Only WKU-funded e-journal titles and links will be added to TOPCAT. Exceptions will be considered on an individual basis.
