Bowling Green - Warren County Bicentennial Celebration




About Bowling Green & Warren County

arren County, established in 1797, covers 545 square miles in south central Kentucky. Kentucky's 24th county was formed from Map of Kentucky counties, Warren is highlighted parts of Logan County and named for General Joseph Warren, a hero from the American Revolution's Battle of Bunker Hill.

Bowling Green, established in 1798, is now Kentucky's fifth largest city and a "Hall of Fame" Kentucky Certified City. Bowling Green was also a 1995 Finalist Community in the Alliance for National Renewal's All-America City Awards.
