
The WKU Rotaract club is sponsored and mentored by a local Rotary International club, a service organization composed of business and professional men and women. Preliminary meetings began in December 2008 and approximately 15 members participated in the chartering ceremony on April 22, 2009.

What does a Rotaract club do?
Each Rotaract club organizes a variety of projects and activities, depending primarily upon the interests of the club members. However, within the Rotaract program, all clubs undertake three types of activities in varying degrees:
* professional development
* leadership development
* service projects
