Who is eligible?
The Graduate Leadership Certificate Program offers a graduate interdisciplinary academic program. You will enhance your understanding of leadership theory and practice, while applying it directly toward your academic or professional area of interest.
Students admitted to graduate studies at WKU can elect to pursue the graduate Certificate in Leadership Studies either by itself, or in conjunction with a masters program in a selected specific discipline.
Graduate students must have completed the graduate studies application process (GRE not required for Certificate).

Eligible students can apply anytime! The Center for Leadership Excellence accepts applications throughout the year.
- Complete the application form.
- Write a letter of application indicating why the Leadership Studies Program interests you, and how you expect to benefit from the program.
- Apply online for admittance to WKU Graduate Studies if you are not currently admitted. If you are already admitted to another graduate program this step is not necessary.
