Pecha Kucha Presenter Information


Presentation Information

Our next Pecha Kucha Night will be Monday, October 20,  2015 at the Kentucky Museum. There are 9 presentation "slots" available.

If you are interested in presenting:

  1. Select a topic that you are passionate about and develop a 20 slide / 20 second a slide image based powerpoint. Go to the Pecha Kucha website and look at presentations that are posted on their daily blog for inspiration. This will help you with how a Pecha Kucha presentation should look and sound. When formatting your presentation, do not do a title slide. If you are selected, we will provide the title slide for you.
  2. Check out our flyer for PK Vol. 6 and the event page
  3. Send your presentation to christy.spurlock@wku.edu using We Transfer.
  4. After you have uploaded your presentation, please provide the following information:

Introduction example: Thad has been teaching technology-related classes at WKU for 15 years. He and his wife have three kids, four dogs, and a cat. The Washington Redskins are his favorite football team, even when they stink like the do again this year. He thinks Ben Afflek is a great choice to play Batman. He is still angry at the producers of "LOST".

KM Education staff will review presentations on Friday, October 9, 2015 and contact you if you are selected.

If you are selected, please download and fill out the presenter consent form and bring with you to PK Night.
