Saturday, January 24, 2015, from  9AM to 11AM
Member's fee: $40                      Non-member fee: $45

Missi Carini will teach a glass fusing workshop at the Kentucky Museum. In this beginner to intermediate hands-on workshop you will learn how to tack, fuse and slump glass to design your own pendants. Missi will guide you through the process which includes purchasing the right type of glass, cutting glass, tacking, creating pendants, slumping glass bowls, and how to program your kiln for glass work. At this workshop you will get to keep everything that you make.

You don't need to own a kiln to enjoy this fascinating workshop. Your workshop fee includes all materials, supplies and kiln firing. Pendants made during the workshop will be fired after the workshop and ready to pick up at the Kentucky Museum on February 7th from 9 am to 4 pm, just in time for Valentines Day gifts!

Missi Carini is a professional art educator who teaches in the Warren County school system and conducts workshops for the National Arts Education Association.
