Missi Carini will teach a glass fusing workshop at the Kentucky Museum. In this beginner's hands-on workshop you will learn how to tack, fuse and slump glass to design your own pendants. Missi will guide you through the process which includes purchasing the right type of glass, cutting glass, tacking, creating pendants, slumping glass bowls, and how to program your kiln for glass work. At this workshop you will get to keep what you make.

You don't need to own a kiln to enjoy this fascinating workshop. Your workshop fee includes all materials, supplies and kiln firing. Pendants made during the workshop will be fired after the workshop and ready to pick up at the Kentucky Museum the week of May 28 - 31.

Missi Carini is a professional art educator who currently teaches in the Warren County school system and conducts  workshops for National Arts Education Association.
