Kentucky Crafted: The Market- March
The Kentucky Craft Marketing Program, KFP's sister program under the Kentucky Arts Council, hosts this event at the Fair and Expo Center in Louisville to promote and sell work by juried artists and craftspeople. Our involvement has included narrative stages, demonstrations, and musical performances.

Governor's Derby Breakfast- May
In partnership with Kentucky Travel and Tourism, the Folklife Program presents traditional artists at this outdoor breakfast event in Frankfort on the morning of Derby Day.

Kentucky Historical Society's Tea Time Tours
This monthly program at the Kentucky History Center in Frankfort features a guest speaker or presenter. The Kentucky Folklife Program often sponsors one of these during the summer, presenting a traditional artists and promoting the Folklife Festival.

Kentucky Folklife Festival- September
This 3-day, statewide celebration of Kentucky's broad array of folk art forms, traditions, and communities takes place in late September in downtown Frankfort.
