WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks. 

Residence Halls remain open until noon Saturday. Bemis & Barnes have space for those who need to stay longer. Visit WKU Housing & Residence Life for more information.

Join us November 8-9, 2012 for the Kentucky Engagement Conference. This year's conference is hosted at Western Kentucky University. The Kentucky Engagement Conference is planned each year by the host school with the assistance of the state-wide planning committee consisting of representatives from the eight universities across the state of Kentucky (WKU, EKU, NKU, Murray, Morehead, Louisville, UK, and KSU), Ky Campus Compact, the Council on Postsecondary Education, and the Kentucky's Secretary of State's office. The conference is held to bring together academic administrators and faculty to share best practices and learn about trending ideas related to community engagement, service learning, civic health, community-based research, and related topics.
