Bio
Carol Alicie is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Currently, she is one class away from earning her Masters in Communication at WKU. Carol began her WKU career in March of 2003 when she joined the Orientation Office, now known as the Academic Transition Program (ATP). She worked closely with incoming students to help ease their transition from high school to WKU. In August of 2006 she became an office Associate with the Academic Advising and Retention Center and worked closely with items such as the Academic Probation process, advisor assignments, budgets within that position. In July 2009 Carol became an Academic Advisor in AARC where she advised first year students and worked to help them understand how best to succeed in attaining their college degree. Carol joined the School of Journalism & Broadcasting in April 2012. She is the academic advisor for freshmen pursuing a major in the School. It is Carol’s desire to aid students in their pursuit of a degree and a successful transition to WKU.
