Several types of training are available through IT. Please review each section below
to find the type of training desired.
Technology Training
Scheduled face-to-face technology workshops are available for faculty and staff. To register, view the monthly Technology Training calendar. Contact it.training@wku.edu to request a customized workshop.

Classroom Technology Training (including IVS Classrooms)
Classroom trainings are face-to-trainings for individuals or small groups. The objective of these trainings is to introduce the user to classroom technologies such as touch panels, document cameras, DVD players, classroom computers, laptop hook-up, interactive whiteboards(SMART Boards), projectors, and video conferencing. To schedule a training, please contact the Audio Video Technical Support Center at 270-745-3809, or email ivs@wku.edu.
Online Training
Video tutorials have been combined with quizzes to provide online training to enhance your knowledge of Blackboard, Adobe software and more. Access online training inside Blackboard from the IT Training tab, or the Online Training tab within the Technology Training site.
Video Tutorials
Over 300 short video tutorials covering a wide variety of technology topics are available. These tutorials can be accessed anytime, anywhere with internet access.

Annual Lab Print Allocation
The 2012-2013 academic year's free lab print allocation is available to use beginning August 13.
Expanded Live Chat Hours
The IT Helpdesk has expanded live chat support hours.
