While the holiday falls on Sept. 23, Saudi Arabian students celebrated today with their native food and dancing.
The Saudi Arabian Club President says it's important to celebrate their national day, because there are several hundred Saudi Arabian students at WKU alone.
"There are about 85,000 students that study here in the USA, and about 300 that study at WKU. All of them are from Saudi Arabia, so it's important to share our day."
The event was this afternoon was from 1-5 on WKU's South Lawn.
