*Graduate tuition and fees are assessed per credit hour based upon pursuant of 9 credit hours per every fall and spring semesters.

GRADUATE-MASTER’S TUITION SCHOLARSHIP: WKU offers tuition scholarship to qualified international graduate/master’s students. Scholarships pay, in part tuition costs. Tuition scholarships of $322.00 per credit hour           (9 credit maximum), up to $2898.00 (maximum) per semester awarded to qualified international graduate students for Spring and Fall semesters only.

However, scholarship amount can changed significantly each semester so students should check current tuition and fee rates. Access current term tuition rates and fees at Tuition and Fees Schedule site:

To receive this scholarship, student MUST enroll as a full-time graduate student at WKU and maintain 3.0 cumulative GPA at ALL times. This scholarship awarded by the Graduate School office, any application for scholarship and any questions about award/amount answered by


ACT/SAT exam not required for admission. However, if an international student wishes to be considered for WKU National/International Academic Scholarship (NIAS), he/she MUST submit ACT or SAT score. Maximum annual value for scholarship about 45% of mandatory fees and tuition per academic year. Student MUST maintain cumulative 2.5 GPA or higher to maintain scholarship.

To receive this scholarship, student MUST enroll as a full-time undergraduate freshman student at WKU with a secondary school cumulative un-weighted GPA of 3.4 (85%) AND a 24 composite ACT score OR 1090 SAT total.
Also, transfer students must have cumulative 3.4 GPA or higher on 4.0 scale and at least 24 semester credit hours completed at another college university.

As with any college or university, there are always additional unbilled costs: supplies, entertainment, clothing, transportation, visit home for vacations, etc. The total amount for unbilled costs varies depending on each student’s lifestyle.

Must live on campus if under 21 years of age; see for more information.

Additional mandatory fees apply depending on student’s registrations; students can expect cost of attendance to rise by each year of enrollment.

Students cannot rely on campus employment to fund studies.
