On-campus Housing

Convenient Housing for Students on the Hill

Your most convenient housing option is to live on-campus. You will be close to your classes and WKU activities, you can pay for your housing in the same way you pay your tuition and other fees, and you will form lasting friendships with other students.

Choose Among Many Options, and Apply Early

WKU offers a wide variety of living options to meet the needs of our students. The objective of the residential hall programs is to create an environment that is compatible with the student's personal, social, and academic development. You should apply for housing as soon as possible after you are admitted to WKU. The priority deadline for housing applications is March 31st. If you apply by that date, your fall housing assignment will be available on your Topnet account in mid-June. Learn more about this guarantee and general housing information.

Undergraduate freshman and sophomores are required to live on campus in one of WKU's 16 residence halls. You MUST live on campus if you are 21 years of age or younger. For more information on the required housing policy and exemptions visit:

Required Housing Policy & Exemptions

WKU housing ranges from single rooms to four-bedroom apartments. Each residence hall has been fully renovated and features moveable furniture, high-speed internet, cable TV, floor kitchens, study and TV lounges, vending machines, laundry facilities, community rooms, and resident mailboxes.
