What
kind of matting is used in your frames?
The matting used is only "archival" quality and the back
board meets or exceeds the Library of Congress standard for museum
framing. All mats are fade resistant and will protect the diploma
from yellowing.
What kind of glass is used?
The highest quality picture framing glass. This glass is not non-glare.
What type of wood are the frames
made out of?
The frames are made from either Ramon (hardwood) or Jeltong wood
that are harvested in Malaysia and milled and stained in Italy
to achieve the highest quality finish. The wood moldings are kiln-dried
and are either sprayed with oil-based lacquer or satin finish to
achieve the highest durability and its elegant quality finish.
All wood used in the production of the frames is farm grown and
is not from the rain forest. We pride ourselves in helping preserve
the rain forest.
Do you sell the mats, lithographs,
medallions, etc. separately?
No. These items are only sold with the frames.
What diploma size will these
frames fit?
Unless otherwise noted, all frames listed will accommodate a diploma
that measures 8 1/2" x 11".
How long before I get my frame?
Your order should take no more than a week to ship. Typical orders
arrive between two and five business days.
How will my frame be shipped?
We use UPS (United Parcel Service) ground to ship your frame anywhere
in the 48 contiguous states with the exception of shipping to PO
Boxes and APO addresses. Shipping to a PO Box, an APO address or
overseas is available
for an additional charge. All frames are shipped with insurance.
Why is shipping so expensive?
Each frame is insured for full value. Each frame is double-boxed
to minimize the chance for damage.
Frames are oversized items; shipping is higher. All frames are
packaged to meet or exceed UPS standards.
What do I do if I receive my
frame damaged?
Although all frames are packaged to meet or exceed UPS standards,
with any fragile items, there is a chance of damage. Keep all shipment
packaging; This is essential for us to make insurance claims with
the shipping companies.
Simply contact us at 270-745-5785 and make arrangements for an
RMA and a replacement product.
Can I purchase these frames at
the University Bookstore?
Yes, as long as the frame you are interested in is in stock. Availability
will be noted in the frame description.
