Summer Memberships:
STUDENT
Summer student memberships are $35 regardless of the amount of credit hours enrolled. Application and payment can be made at 54a Preston Center or 208 Potter Hall.
Summer student spouse memberships are $35. Application and payment must be made at 54a Preston Center.
Dependent children/grandchildren (18 and under) of students are eligible for summer membership for $25. Application and payment must be made at 54a Preston Center.
Extended family (immediate family only) of students are eligible for membership for $35.
FACULTY/STAFF
Faculty/Staff that choose to use the Preston Center only during the summer may do so for $70 (lump sum payment only). Application and payment must be made at 54a Preston Center.
A spouse of a faculty/staff member is eligible for summer membership for $70. Application and payment must be made at 54a Preston Center.
Dependent children/grandchildren (18 and under) are eligible for summer membership for $25.
BUDDY
Current Preston Center members may sign up family, friends, significant other, etc. for a summer "buddy' membership for $70. Application and payment must be made at 54a Preston Center.
OTHER
No pro-rating or refunds for summer memberships regardless of application/payment date.
Summer memberships are valid from the first Monday after Spring Commencement to the day before the start of the Fall Semester.

WKU ID Card Information:
A WKU ID card must be presented to the front desk staff to gain access to the facility. Individuals who are not enrolled as students and are not employed by the university will be issued a “Preston Only” membership number from our office. Once this number has been assigned, it is the member’s responsibility to take a copy of the application to the ID Center located in room 126 of the Downing University Center, to have an ID made. “Preston Only” ID’s cost $10.
Parking Information:
Preston Center members who are not enrolled as students and are not employed by the university are eligible to purchase a Preston Center parking permit at a fee of $10.00 per semester. (Fall Semester, Spring semester, and Summer semester). The parking permits must be purchased at WKU Parking and Transportation.
