WOMEN'S
ADPi Lions 20 - Winning Tradition 7
There's a new tradition in women's flag football. Everyone on the main campus two miles away could here the ADPi Lions roar. Winning Tradition failed on multiple fourth down conversion attempts, lending to the ADPi Lions victory. Next time Winning Tradition will think twice before stepping into the lions den. All in all it was a battle, with both teams leaving it all out on the field, but in the end there is only one king of the jungle.
DIVISION III
Bad Boyz 28 - Underdogs 0
Division III's championship featured a rematch of the regular season. This time the Bad Boyz would have their redemption, in the first shutout of championship night. This ended the Underdogs featured cinderella story. The Bad Boyz proved they belonged, scoring a combined 56 points while giving up 0 in the playoffs.
CO-REC
Seguidores de Cristo 35 - Unusual Suspects 0
This was a highly touted matchup, considering both teams rolled through their respective sides of the bracket. Seguidores de Cristo was at their best when it counted most though, recording shutouts in the quaters, semis, and championship. In the end it turned out the runners up were the usual suspects of Seguidores de Cristo's solid play.
DIVISION II
Bashers 25 - KA Ocho Cinco 19
The Bashers continued their winning ways in Division II, the former NCAA division, having a repeat championship effort. KA Ocho Cinco kept it a close game, status quo for their playoff run which was filled with hard faught games. For the Bashers though this was a tune up for what hopes to be a successful Regional Flag Football Tournament, hosted by yours truly, WKU.
DIVISION I
KA Murder's Row 8 - Blue Monkey Dishwashers 6
The most anticipated game of the night saw the least amount of poinits. The Blue Monkey Dishwashers struck first and held the lead into the second half. KA Murder's Row answered in the second half, and went for two after an illegal contact moved them up half the distance. No one thought 8 points would be enough to win at the beginning of the night, but these two well matched teams went blow for blow on defense, for what proved to be a low scoring, but still exciting game.
