Camp Big Red 2009
The Intramural-Recreational Sports Department at WKU has sponsored Camp Big Red for the past 15 years. It is a day camp for children between the ages of 6 to 12 years old. Our camp allows campers to experience positive group interactions in a safe and fun environment. We give campers the opportunity to develop teamwork skills, to experience fun adventures, and to create new lasting friendships through arts & crafts, sports, daily recreational activities, special events as well as field trips. Camp Big Red is a wonderful way to spend the summer. COME JOIN THE FUN!!!!!

TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP:
7:30-9:00am- Camper Drop Off (Court # 3)/Morning Activities
9:30-11:30am- Counselor Directed Activities/Kid Yoga (Tues)
10:30am- Snack Time (cookies & kool-aid)
11:30-Noon- Organized Games
12:15-1:30pm- Lunch @ DUC (Mon-Thur) Preston Center (Fri)
1:30-3:15pm- DUC 4th Floor (Mon-Thur), arts & crafts, or rec lounge, Preston Center Movie Day (Fri)
3:15-4:00pm- Organized Games
4:00-4:30pm- Free play/Camper Pick Up
*Due to the Preston Center Renovation Project, the swimming pool will not be available this summer however, we will have additional programming to compensate*
