For the first time, Imagewest awarded two $800 scholarships that will help with summer internship expenses for the WKU School of Journalism and Broadcasting students in efforts to encourage students to further their education.

The two SJ&B recipients were junior Bennett Hibbler Jr., an advertising major and graphic design minor from Gallatin, Tenn., and junior Ben Simms, a public relations major and sales minor from Nicholasville, Ky.

The scholarship, funded by Imagewest will be granted annually. WKU students majoring in advertising, public relations or graphic design are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
