Terry Shoemaker is the Program Coordinator for the WKU Institute for Citizenship & Social Responsibility. Terry works directly with WKU students on projects and initiatives that connect them with the community while building their civic agency. He also works with students in a capacity that allows them to apply their areas of academic expertise to public problems.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and History from Western Kentucky University in 2000 and is currently working on his MA in Religious Studies at WKU. Terry served as Executive Director of HOTEL INC, a non-profit located in Bowling Green, KY, for two years prior to taking the position of Program Coordinator. Currently, he serves on the Bowling Green Coalition of Active Neighborhoods (BGCAN).
