Give to ICSR
Public Achievement Graduate Assistant
Office: Tate Page Hall 110
As a graduate student working on a Masters in Social Responsibility & Sustainable Communities, working in the ICSR was a natural fit. Laura began working as a Public Achievement Graduate Assistant in the fall of 2014. As the PAGA Laura recruits and supervises undergraduate coaches, works with the public school site coordinators, and helps teach a Public Achievement class at WKU. She is passionate about PA’s mission and agrees “that people of every age have skills, talents and ideas, and that by learning to work strategically with others they can solve problems and build sustainable democratic societies.”
Laura also works at Christ Episcopal Church as Director of Children’s Education and is very active and involved in the community. She enjoys life in the country on their farm with her husband, Todd, and son, Brooks. Together they enjoy traveling and the outdoors, most recently taking up stand-up paddle boarding.
