Participants will receive a complete schedule of all M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan events during registration on Sunday, August 17, 2008. In order to assist you in making travel plans, here is a sample schedule.

Sunday, August 17

•  Residence Hall Check-In 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
•  M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan Material Pick-up 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
•  Family Information Fair 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
•  President’s Reception for Families 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
•  Commuter/Transfer Student Orientation 6:30 p.m.
•  Residence Hall Orientation6:30 p.m.
•  Opening Ceremony 8:00 p.m.
•  Social Events9:30 p.m.

Interactive Educational and Informational Workshops: Student Rights and Responsibilities, Safety and Security on Campus, Making the Transition from High School and Home to WKU, Involvement as a Tool for Success, Managing Priorities and Goal Setting, Celebrating Diversity, WKU History and Traditions 

Special Events: Opening Ceremony, President’s Reception, Faculty and Staff Reception, Theatrical Troupe Performance, Big Red’s Blitz: Community Service Activity coordinated by the ALIVE Center

Social Activities: Hall Programs, Block Party, Outdoor Movies, Bowling, Billiards, Campus Services Socials, Preston Recreation Center Activities, Campus Activities Board Events, Office of Diversity Programs’ Social, Residence Hall Visitation, Downing University Center Events, M.A.S.T.E.R.
