My Role in the Honors College

I help Rebekah Russell with planning Honors College events and anything else she might need. I am also researching and gathering ideas to start up a student stewardship program in the Honors College.

Educational Background

I am a sophomore at WKU double-majoring in psychology and creative writing.

Hometown

Louisville, Kentucky

Hobbies and Interests

As a creative writing major, I read and write constantly. I also love to paint, draw, hike, sing, watch documentaries, take pictures, make button earrings and dance like no one is watching. To relieve stress I usually take a long run or play piano. Currently, I am also trying my hand at rock climbing, which is going slow! If I’m not in class or at the Honors College, I am serving my sorority as activities coordinator or attending meetings for FeelGood or worshipping with R.U.F.

What Brought Me to the HC

The Honors College is the main reason I chose WKU, and I owe them a lot for making it my home away from home. The opportunity to intern and give back has been a great experience and has given me the chance to meet even more friendly and talented people.

A Little About Myself

I love helping others and making everyone’s day a little brighter. If you need anything, a hug or a smile, I am always willing to help.
