My Role in the Honors College
I work with Lindsey Westerfield and other members of the recruitment team to ensure that we are attracting the highest caliber of students for the Honors College at WKU. Throughout my work I promote the HC in a variety of ways from publication designs, stories for the Honors News Desk, and various events.
I graduated from Bowling Green Highs School with the Commonwealth Diploma in 2009. I'm planning to graduate in 2013 with a double-major in political science and public relations and a minor in music, along with two certificates.

Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy singing a little too much and cleaning not enough. I love cooking and wish that I had more time to develop a culinary mind. I often ponder life’s great questions and don’t often make great headway at solving them.
What Brought me to the HC
As high school graduation was impending, I knew that I wanted to receive a high quality education, and I felt safe that the education I would receive at the Honors College would provide that. When the opportunity for employment at the HC arose, I knew that it would be a wonderful professional experience and I am enjoying every second that I spend here.
A Little About Myself
As I said before, I love to sing. When I’m not in class or at work, I can normally be found in a practice room of the Fine Arts Center or in a performance. I’m a member of the WKU RedShirts and the WKU Chorale, two leading ensembles in the Department of Music. I’ve got big goals for my life and am determined to achieve them. What’s life without a bit of a challenge?
