My Role in the Honors College

I work with Kalu, the IT Consultant. Together, we aim to provide the highest quality technology to the Honors College and Honors students. Specifically, we are responsible for all technology-related issues in Honors and we maintain the Honors College and Honors-affiliated websites.

Educational Background

I am currently pursuing my Bachelors degree in politicial science and plan to graduate in 2013.

Hometown

Smithland, Kentucky

Hobbies and Interests

I am an all-around nerd. I am, obviously, very interested in computers and technology, and it seems as though I am always saving up for that “next big thing.” I love science, learning, amateur astronomy and gaming.

What Brought Me to the HC

Throughout high school, I was actively involved and graduated as the valedictorian of my class. I wanted to continue my education and challenge myself in the process. I chose WKU and the Honors College for this pursuit. In addition, I applied for the position of Student IT Consultant shortly after the start of my first semester at WKU.

A Little About Myself

I grew up in a small town in Western Kentucky. I got my first computer (a Gateway) for Christmas when I was eight years old. I learned everything about computers that I know today like any IT consultant has- by breaking something, then trying to fix it again. I love music and movies, especially the Star Wars and Indiana Jones sagas.
