Internships can help students acquire new knowledge and skills through engaging in intensive, organized learning experiences outside of the classroom. Internships require students to learn and participate in the practical applications of their discipline directly and to make meaningful professional contacts. Honors Internships will provide Honors College students with the opportunity to enroll in an Honors course and receive Honors credit for their participation in a supervised internship experience. Students must gain Honors College approval for an Honors Internship by the final day to register for a full-semester course during the semester in which the student wishes to enroll in the Honors Internship course.
