Honors Development Grants (HDGs) are designed to support Honors students’ intellectual development by providing a maximum award of $500 to offset costs of your research.

This form is turned in to the Honors College within the first two weeks of the semester you will defend. You must obtain the signatures of both readers on this form. The NID form tells the Honors College that you will defend by finals of that semester and that you are ready to be assigned a third reader. http://www.wku.edu/honors/forms/cet-intent-to-defend.php

Your proposal should be 2-5 sentences long. Please email it to Dr. Leslie Baylis at leslie.baylis@wku.edu by Feb 6. For questions about KHR, which is Friday to Saturday afternoon, February 27/28 at Kentucky State University in Frankfort, please email Wolfgang Brauner at wolfgang.brauner@wku.edu.

Study Abroad Honors Credit applications must be submitted for courses taken in Fall '14 or Winter '15 terms. 

Honors Augmentation Contracts for the Spring must be submitted to the Honors College.

Deadline for the Student Research Conference (SRC/REACH conference) is Feb. 13. You may submit your abstract for a presentation or poster at: http://www.wku.edu/studentresearch/abstract_submit.php

The conference is scheduled for Saturday, March 28 in the Downing Student Union. This conference may be used to meet the requirement for CE/T students to present their research material prior to their defense. Contact Dr. Baylis (leslie.baylis@wku.edu) for questions and information on SRC workshops on writing abstracts, preparing posters and presentations.
