Rules

1. Entry fee is $35 per person, or $60 team (limit 2 per boat).

 

2. Pre-registration is encouraged. Boats will start the tournament             according to the order of entry. The tournament committee reserves the right to refuse any/all entries.

 

3. Pre-registration will be from 6 to 8pm on Friday, April 18, 2008 at Ranger Bob’s Bait & Tackle.

 

4. Check-in and onsite registration will be from 4:30 - 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 200 at Ranger Bob’s Bait and Tackle.

 

5. Tournament hours will be 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.

 

6. Scales open at 7am and close at 1pm. Anglers must check in with a member of the weigh committee to weigh a fish at the end of the tournament.

 

7. All fish must be brought to the scales alive. No dead fish will be weighed. Each team may weigh only one fish per hour.

 

8. Only Largemouth, Smallmouth, or Kentucky Bass are allowed to be weighed.

 

9. Once a fish is handed to the weigh master, it becomes property of the tournament committee and will be released after it is weighed.

 

10. In the event of a tie, the first fish weighed will be the winner.

 

11. No live bait allowed. Artificial lures only. Pork or pork type strips are permitted. Maximum rod length will be 7 ½ feet. Trolling will not be

permitted.

 

12. Maximum of 2 persons per boat. You may fish alone. A boat is considered a team.

 

13. Life jackets must be worn any time the gas motor is running.

 

14. Any protests will be handled by a committee of three contestants appointed by the weigh master. Their decision will be final. The weigh master reserves the right to require a polygraph.

 

15. All participants must read and sign the official registration form and waiver and release acknowledgement forms.

 

16. Drugs, other than prescription in their approved container, and alcohol will not be permitted.

 

17. Only one prize per team per hour.

 

18. All participating boats must have an operating livewell and operational kill switch.

 

19. All boats must have current liability insurance coverage.

 

20. No fishing within 100 yards of the weigh station.
