Fireside Chat is a nutrition series developed to meet the nutritional needs of students sponsored by WKU Health Services, WKU Restaurant & Catering Group, and WellU. Students gather around the fireplace in the lobby of WKU Health Services for a casual discussion about maintaining nutritious eating habits led by the Registered Dietitian for WKU Restaurant and Catering while enjoying a healthy snack and cup of hot chocolate. This series occurs October through February.

|November 18th||Groceries on a Budget||Learn to get the most bang for your buck at your next trip to the grocery store with tips for choosing, buying, and storing healthier foods.|
|February 3rd||The Craze with Diet Trends||What's the story with all these detox diets, juice cleanses, and supplements? Get the facts as we break down what's trendy in the diet world.|
|February 17th||Getting Food to "Work-out" for You: A Healthy Balance of Food & Fitness||Eating right and working out aren't just for health nuts and buff athletes. We'll approach nutrition and exercise from a balanced perspective to find goals that are right for you.|
|March 3rd||Restaurant Tricks of the Trade||Spotting those sneaky salads and other foods that aren't as "light" as they seem can be tough. Play "This or That" with us and learn what to look for and what to avoid the next time you eat out.|
