Public Show-When the Universe Was Young

When the Universe Was Young

Early Universe in Deep Space

We are the first generation of humans to know what our universe was like
at the very beginning.

Less than 100 years ago people thought that our galaxy was all there was and that it had never, ever changed. We have since come to realize, whether we like it or not, that our galaxy is just one of at least hundreds of billions of galaxies in a universe that has been changing constantly since it began almost 14 billion years ago. Join us to explore how we understand what it was like when the universe was young.

Free of charge and suitable for all ages. 60 minute running time, with time for questions at the end of the presentation. Please note that the show will begin on time, with no late entrance permitted.
