WKU Student Life Policies
All university citizens enjoy the rights and liberties
assured by the constitutions of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United
States of America. Likewise, they are
subject to the responsibility and obligation to accord respect to the rights of
others.
Student Life policies are intended to foster student development
and responsibility. Guided by these
principles, the Office of Student Life maintains the mission of the University
by ensuring that students are afforded opportunities for civic engagement with
respect to the rights of others.
Students’ rights, responsibilities, and the Code of Student
Conduct are outlined in the student handbook, Western Kentucky University
Student Handbook, which is made available to all students through the
Office of Student Life.
