The WKU campus and surrounding community is invited to participate in the WKU Blood Drive benefiting the American Red Cross in September 2024.
Appointments are encouraged, but not required.
There are many appointments available for the blood drive on September 9 - 11, 2024 from 10:00am - 6:00pm. While we encourage making an appointment, you can still walk-in to make a donation. To make an appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter sponsor code WKU. or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
Incentive Offer – All presenting donors will receive a commemorative t-shirt while supplies last.
Parking for community members donating will be at the South Lawn Lot. There will be 10 spaces reserved each day.
