11:00 a.m. (CDT)
Informational Session on Western Kentucky University's Summer Residential Program for Middle School students in the Downing University Center Theater (DUC).

12:30 p.m. (CDT)
Campus Tours begin at Centennial Mall (the courtyard outside DUC).

2:00 p.m. (CDT)
DUKE Tip Recognition Ceremony in Diddle Arena.

Direction to WKU's Campus

Directions from North and South Interstate 65

1.Take Exit 26 off of Interstate 65.

2. Turn toward Bowling Green onto Cemetery Road.

3. Continue straight for three miles. Cemetery Road becomes Fairview Avenue. Continue going straight across 31-W Bypass. You will pass a fire station on your left. Turn left at College Street (this is a one-way street).

4. Stay on College Street through downtown Bowling Green and continue until you reach the top of the hill. College Street will dead-end at 15th street at a statue of Henry Hardin Cherry. Turn right onto 15th Street.

5. 15th Street will turn into College Heights Boulevard. Continue in the left lane of College Heights Boulevard. Parking will be available in the Schneider Hall Lot. Additional parking is available along along Alumni Drive in front of the Wetherby Administration Building. Schneider Hall is just downhill. You will pass Alumni Drive prior to the Schneider Hall lot.

6. If parking is unavailable in either the Schneider Hall Lot or along Alumni Drive, you will need to park in Parking Structure 1.  Please first obtain a parking pass from the Gatton Academy office if your visit on a weekday.

 

Directions from William Natcher Parkway

1.Take Exit 9 off the William Natcher Parkway.

2. Turn right toward Bowling Green onto Morgantown Road (US-231 S).

3. Continue straight for two miles. Bear left on Russellville Road (US-68).

4. Turn right onto University Boulevard. Continue in the left lane through two stop lights.

5. Turn left onto Normal Drive. Follow Normal Drive and turn left at the second light at the top of the hill (15th Street-one way), staying in the left lane.

6. 15th Street will turn into College Heights Boulevard Continue in the left lane of College Heights Boulevard. Parking will be available in the Schneider Hall Lot. Additional parking is available along along Alumni Drive in front of the Wetherby Administration Building. Schneider Hall is just downhill. You will pass Alumni Drive prior to the Schneider Hall lot.

Directions from US-68/80

1. Enter Bowling Green on US-68/80. US-68/80 will become Russellville Road.

2. Russellville Road concludes as you enter campus. Turn right onto University Boulevard. Continue in the left lane through two stop lights.

3. Turn left onto Normal Drive. Follow Normal Drive and turn left at the second light at the top of the hill (15th Street-one way), staying in the left lane.
