Notes by Cirlyn the Colourful
Well I?m back, Cirlyn the Colourful at your service once again here to proclaim the greatness of our wonderful troupe once again. The?um?the?uh?what was our name again? I can?t remember. I don?t think we ever really decided on something. I?ve got it! I?ll make something up! It?ll be fun. Let?s see, it needs to be flashy and inspire fear in our enemies while at the same time making people love us. I?ve got it! The Flaming Chocolate Pies of Doom! Everyone loves chocolate pie so they?ll love us and evil people are always afraid of doom, add in the flaming for effect and it?s perfect. Huh? Wait a sec. Hmmm. Some of the others don?t seem to like that idea. I can?t imagine why. The big noisy metal tin can dwarf thingy has suggested the Dragonfangs. It works well enough for me I guess. Not as good as the Flaming Chocolate Pies of Doom but the others don?t seem to object to it. So there we go, I will recount part of the extraordinary tale of the Dragonfangs, the best adventuring group to ever come out of Cauldron.
Well as someone already wrote we were fighting a demon. With my extraordinary intellect I managed to deduce that it was an Erinyes and that certainly was entertaining. I?ve never almost died from fish and a demon before. I don?t think I liked it very much actually. After the Erinyes ran away and the other Kua-Toa were dead we started patching up our wounded and regrouped. Then I started playing around with the obsidian lobster statue trying to pack it away in a cool extra-dimensional space I?d found. One of the other guys had shown me how to do it. I can?t remember who he is. He doesn?t really do much.
I?d managed to get some pieces of it when someone decided to go explore some more and opened one of the doors behind it. And wouldn?t you know it out pops another Kua-Toa. This one looked really mean and armed for bear. Like the other group before he shot us a few times with lightning bolts and man they hurt. But it was only one guy and we managed to whittle him down somehow. At one point he lost control of the weird staff thingy he was fighting with and it went flying across the room where the barbarian guy picked it up. For some reason he doesn?t seem to like me very much. I?ve no idea why. He keeps blaming me for bringing him here but it wasn?t my fault. I didn?t make him jump into some random teleportation magic. I mean its not like I intentionally summoned him or anything.
Anyways, at another point I managed to sneak my way into the back room to see what was in there while the others and the Kua-Toa distracted but there was a dwarf in there and he attacked me real quick, and for no reason I might add. Well I was already hurt and was nearly out of spells so I ran out of there quick and shut the door behind me. For some reason he never came out. I was just in time to see the Kuo-Toa go tumbling off the stage we were fighting on and fall the twenty feet to the floor. We were all pretty hurt by then and a few of us fell after the Kua-Tua stood up and started pounding everyone but we managed to finish taking him down. Unfortunately at that point the Erinyes decided to make another appearance and started taking potshots at us with that damnable bow it had.
Fortunately, we?d fought the demon once before and had refined our tactics a bit expecting it to show back up. With a little luck we managed to take her down but everyone was hurting badly afterwards. We split up the loot from the two guys and then tried to decide whether to rest or not. Then Brago had the bright idea to go search the back rooms for stuff. I tried to tell him about the dwarf in there wanting to kill me but he didn?t listen to me. And I have no idea how he did it but he managed to grab the dwarf and squeeze it to death. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that he was now 4 times his original size. But sure enough there was lots of loot back there and after gathering it up we decided to lock the doors and rest there.

The next day we decided to continue exploring. There were some double-doors that we hadn?t gone through yet. So we sent Addabar to check them for traps and open them. He got through ok but soon came running back at his full lopsided one and a half foot speed. We looked to see what was chasing him and saw a black dragon right on his heels. I broke into a smile. This was going to be fun. Think of all the stuff I could make with black dragon remains. Hee hee.
