Ummmm... I've played D&D 3.x for several years in addition to a lot of video games. I started playing D&D when a friend of mine got the 3.0 core rulebooks as a gift. He learned to play from reading, then taught us (badly XD). It kinda snowballed from there. I haven't played much since the end of high school because I don't see the members of my original group very often anymore.

I guess that's enough to start with... or not.

okay, In addition to gaming I enjoy anime and manga as well as sci-fi and fantasy novels. I have no idea what my major is going to be yet. My favorite video game genres (in rough order of favorites) are RPGs, action/adventure, tactics, hack and slash, shooters, and fighting games.

As for the specifics of my D&D playing, I've gotten a little sick of the inadequacies and unbalanced bits of official D&D 3.5 so I've been testing a system with heavily modified classes, feats, and rebalanced magic with my friends. The few adventures we've played through went really well. Unfortunately, school ended and we never really got past level 4 or so.

I'm joining the GG to add to my miniscule social life and hopefully have fun playing video games, D&D, and whatever other forms of fun you guys do.
