Hell

I have good news and I have bad news.

The Good News is: you are now displaced souls fated to suffer terrible agony throughout eternity. You are the property of demons. Your pain and suffering is their pleasure, and they're terrible hedonists. The most you can hope for is agonizing torment that lasts till creation's end. Misery is your daily bread. Pain is your water of life. And no matter what they do to you, you'll heal, so they will do it again and again and again. You are, in a word, doomed. The life you knew and the memories of it will soon be twisted, fragmented, perverted, so that you can't even find sanctuary in your own mind.

The Bad News is: that I lied about there being any good news.

I know it's a bum deal, but, you might as well get use to it, because it's going to be your existence for a very very long time. It's not like you have any choice. I mean, what are you going to do about it, overthrow the Lords of Hell?
