Our Marketing Program
The WKU marketing program offers students two tracks: a general marketing track and a professional sales track. It is normal for our students who follow the recommended course sequence to complete their degree requirements in four years. Approximately 90% of our classes are taught by full-time faculty, and all of our full-time faculty either have their Ph.D. degrees and have considerable practical, real world, experience in business or are Executives-in-Residence with twenty-plus years of executive-level business experience with national and international companies.
Scholarships, Grants, and Other Financial Aid
Scholarship and grant assistance is available to all students who achieve sufficiently high grades or demonstrate sufficient need for financial assistance. Our Financial Aid personnel can assist in obtaining the best financial package.
Personal Development Opportunities
There are numerous activities and organizations students can participate in that will contribute to their total overall personal development. We know that it takes more than textbooks and formal courses to form a well-rounded individual. For that reason, we encourage our marketing students to join student organizations, such as the AMA Marketing Club, and to participate in internship programs as an important part of their total personal development. We also offer study abroad opportunities to help prepare our students for the international marketplace in which we operate today.
Career Opportunities
One big question in the mind of all parents is: "Will my son or daughter be able to get a good, high paying job upon completion of their degree at WKU?"
