The Department's Technique Courses are designed to provide students with the practical skills necessary for success in a variety of careers. These skills include cartography, computer mapping, data analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS), with a specific focus on research methodologies and presentation. These courses also prepare students for graduate or professional studies in many different fields.
