GEOG 317 Geographic Information Systems
CONTENT: This course introduces students to the principles of GIS. Topics include data management, display, and analysis using GIS software. Applications to geospatial data acquisition, base map development, and map production.
Prerequisites: Geog 316 with a grade of C or better, or the permission of the instructor. This course is a core course in the 13-hour G.I.S. Certificate Program.
