| Examines the conservation, land-use and natural resource issues shaping contemporary Australia. Each of these courses offer 3 credits toward the Geography Major and can be applied to other program requirements and electives. These courses will be taught by David Keeling and Debbie Kreitzer. |
| Independent supervised research project that focuses on an aspect of sustainable development, geoscience, park management, biosphere reserves, or world heritage sites. |
Visit cosmopolitan Sydney, the Hunter Valley Wineries, a tropical rainforest, spectacular Kakadu National park, Great Barrier Reef, Nitmiluk National Park, and other fabulous locations!! Approximate cost is $3,200 which includes 6 hours of tuition (3 hours in summer 2002, with 3 hours of independent study taken in Spring or Fall 2002)!
