
GEOG 121 Meteorology
CONTENT: This course is an introduction to the elements of the atmosphere,
severe storms, atmospheric environmental issues, the interdependence between
human life and the atmosphere, and rudimentary forecasting of basic weather
systems. A self-paced laboratory is required. Prerequisite: None. 3 hours.
This course satisfies General Education category D (Lab). The course format is 2-hour lecture and 1-hour lab. This course is required for students pursuing the
Meteorology option in Geography.
OFFERED: Fall and Spring Semesters, and occasional summers.
