At the annual Ogden College Awards Ceremony, held Sunday April 15, 2007, Ashley Littell was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate Student in Geoscience for the 2006-2007 academic year, Courtney P. Baines was recognized as the Outstanding Graduating Geography Senior, and Daniel Hawkins was recognized as the Outstanding Graduating Geology Senior.

At the annual Graduate Studies Awards Ceremony, held Wednesday April 12, 2006, Scott Schoefernacker was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate Student in Geoscience for the 2005-2006 academic year, Crystal Edge Bergman was recognized as the Outstanding Graduating Geography Senior, and Brandy Woodcock was recognized as the Outstanding Graduating Geology Senior.

At the annual Ogden College of Science and Engineering Awards ceremony, held Sunday April 25, 2004, Jenna S. Medlin and Mark Graham were recognized as the Outstanding Students in Geoscience for the 2003-2004 academic year, David Logan received the Ronald Dilamarter Award as the Outstanding Senior in Geography, and Mollie Laird received the Award for Outstanding Senior in Geology.

The following students were recognized by the Department at the 24th Annual Student Honors Reception on April 29, 2004, for their outstanding contributions in scholarship, research, and service:
