BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN GEOGRAPHY

GENERAL GEOGRAPHY CONCENTRATION - EFFECTIVE SPRING 2009

For the Geography major, a minimum of 36 semester hours are required, with at least 18 semester hours at the 300 and 400 level. For minor requirements in this track, contact a Geography advisor. Students have greater flexibility in this track to focus on a suite of courses that prepare the student for employment in a variety of areas. The Department recommends strongly that students take GEOG 300 at the end of the sophomore or beginning of the junior year. Students should view and download the Department's 4-year Program guidelines, which detail suggested courses for students to take each semester in order to graduate in four years. You can also view online the course rotation schedule for Winter 2009 through Spring 2011.
