GEOL460G  Sedimentation and Stratigraphy

CONTENT:  Introduces sedimentary processes, including sediment origins, erosion, transportation, deposition, and diagenesis. Sedimentation patterns and stratigraphic architecture are studied in the context of depositional and tectonic settings. Prerequisite: GEOL 380. 3 hours. Graduate Standing.
