GEOS 543 Environmental Science Concepts
CONTENT: Provides students a fundamental understanding of the inter-relationship between the science and technical disciplines that contribute to our understanding of the environment as a whole.
Students are exposed to the unique challenges facing environmental scientists, both from a practitioner and researcher perspective. Students learn to utilize their discipline-specific background in conjunction with an understanding of the roles and impacts of other disciplines
to solve environmental problems. Prerequisite: Graduate Student standing, introductory courses in geography and/or biology, and permission of
the instructor. 3 hours.
