GEOG522  Seminar in Physical Climatology

CONTENT:  This seminar analyzes one of the most important constituents of our environment. It presents the elements of climate and their world distribution, with an emphasis on the climatic controls and processes, it surveys the influences of climate on the environment, and it introduces climatic classification systems and climatological regions of the world. Directed study stressing an independent supervised research project. Prerequisite:  Graduate student standing and Geog 422.   3 hours.
